The service was once better, seems to be totally overwhelmed, the food has also declined, you can easily wait half an hour until the requested bill finally comes. The sanitary facilities urgently need to be renewed, it smells like manure. We won't be back.

A pleasant atmosphere and the outdoor terrace with a view of the Lahn is always great in summer.

We booked a weekend for 2 people with a washbasin, TV, hairdryer and WiFi. We got a room without a vanity, hair dryer, TV and WiFi. In addition, the room was very dirty. The toilet and shower in the hallway was beyond good and bad. Price should cost € 25.00 per person including breakfast. According to the 2020/2021 holiday journal, the price is € 28.00 per person, but with amenities such as shower / toilet, some with balcony, TV, WiFi and hairdryer. The consultation with the hotel owner revealed that our room was given to someone else, although we had reserved. The overall impression of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired, even if it only costs 25/28 €.

Nice view of the Lahn, simple cuisine but good and inexpensive

The terrace on the banks of the Lahn is ideal for hikers, cyclists and boaters during a break. The food is just good and cheap.

Uncomplicated, courteous and very friendly. I can absolutely recommend the house. We were there by boat, lay on the guest jetty and had breakfast and ate there. A good place to be! 🙏😊🌞

If you want to live in rooms in the style of the 1965 - 1970s again, you have the opportunity here. Sanded carpet, smell of musty and no security lock on the door. Breakfast like 1960: white rolls, cheese, sausage, egg. Cereal and fruit salad none. 45 euros is little, too much for what is offered.

Nice service, order came very quickly. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, considering the reviews - was really good for a "simple" restaurant. The atmosphere is of course very nice due to the area.

Last visited on May 22, 2020 Friendly service Food OK but instead of disinfectant there was only water in the dispenser. One waitress wore a face mask instead of a face mask. I think that's practical too, but it doesn't meet the requirements. Underneath you can spit on the food to be served ... Improvements needed!

I wanted to buy a guest angler card because the inn also sells fishing permits for the Lahn near Laurenburg. Years ago I was a customer there. I wrote 2 emails to the addresses given by the inn, asking whether this is still possible at this time (Corona)! But nobody answers my polite request! Is the computer infected with a virus and you only manage everything on the phone? PS: In the meantime I got a card somewhere else! And I'll do that again next year! Thus the last point of contact with the inn is broken off for all time! It's a shame, but the communication is really bad!

I am very disappointed. The only thing that makes me feel mild is the breakfast, the landscape all around, the terrace with the Lahn that flows directly past it, and Scheibel's plum schnapps. The rest can be forgotten. My rum steak was done well. The rooms are so small that I could hardly take photos. In addition, very old and in need of renovation. You walk on the laminate floor as if it was laid on water. Soft and spongy. I didn't feel comfortable here and I won't sleep here again ... The three stars are only there because of the location ....

we arrived there after 4pm, so definitely after the check in time. the guys at the bar told us to wait because the owner was not there yet. It came off as a bit fishy so we asked if the room still was avaialbe? The staff said yes and requested us to wait. after about 90 minutes the owner came and told us that they had given our room away. To be fair, the owner offered to take us to a different location of theirs which was 15-20km away. We did not take him up on that because the hotel did not make any good impression on us

Nice guest house with an outside terrace overlooking the river Lahn. You can camp on the belonging Lahnwiese. Canoes and bicycles can be rented. In the summer it is beautiful.

We stopped here for a bike ride and ate in the evening. The service was very quick and the staff friendly. The schnitzel are recommended.

Nicely located restaurant. The ordered pizzas were rather bad for an Italian. The staff is nice.

I had a good salad and chicken dish there.

Simple and clean accommodation. Restaurant with good kitchen, cozy dining room, large terrace.
